The Livelihood Triad Fund incubates livelihood promotion projects, scales-up successful livelihood promotion products and services, and builds knowledge from the ground.

The Livelihood Triad Fund (LTF) will help BASIX scale-up, strengthen and deepen its Livelihood Triad approach. The LTF is a 3 year fund of Rs. 99 million, and began in October 2005.

LTF projects include:

• Innovative grassroots work

• Grassroots work at scale

• Sector and policy work, and

• Knowledge building

Over the course of 1 ½ years, the LTF has received 109 project ideas. Out of these, 57 have been approved. 30 approved projects are currently being implemented.
